Central Glass Company, Wheeling, West Virginia 1867-1939. Often referred to as Central Glass Works. Made a tremendous amount of glass for domestic and worldwide use. Best remembered for the Coin Glass made for the Columbia Exposition in 1892 and for such pressed patterns as Log Cabin. Became part of U.S. Glass Co. in 1891 as Factory O, but retained its identity.
