Duncan and Miller Company. Started as George Duncan and sons, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 1884-1891. The factory burned in1892 after joining the U.S. Glass Company in 1891 as Factory P. The factory was rebuilt in Washington, Pennsylvania, in 1892 and renamed Duncan and Miller Company. The company produced hand made glass until another fire in 1955 closed the factory forever. Salvageable molds and the offices of the U.S. Glass Company were moved to Tiffin Ohio, Factory R. Known for excellent pressed ware, i.e., Three Face. Swans and other figures and lines were made in opalescent colors. The Three Face pattern designed by Ernest Miller was made in more than a dozen pieces and won an award at the 1876 World's Fair. Lily of the Valley was a preferred stemware pattern.
