Fostoria Shade and Lamp Company, Fostoria, Ohio, 1890. Sold to Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company in 1893. Continued to make elegant lamps and shades, many designed by Nicholas Kopp. In addition to managing the plant, Kopp was a chemist, designer and metal worker. After selling to Consolidated, the warehouse and headquarters were in Pittsburgh, but most of the lamps were made at the plant in Fostoria, Ohio. The Santa Claus lamp, made before 1893, is probably the most unusual. Blown in opaque and cased colors, their lamps were unsurpassed in design and beauty. The plant closed in 1896.
