MacBeth-Evans, Charleroi, Pennsylvania, 1899. In 1937, became a division of Corning Glass works through World War II. By use of the glass-blowing machine, early mechanization and automation, MacBeth-Evans became one of the largest suppliers of glass for illumination, science and industry during the 1920s and 1930s. Mold-etched patterns in color (Depression glass) beginning in 1930. The white, translucent Monax color used in lighting was also used in tableware.Company Link
