Tiffin Glass Company, Tiffin, Ohio. Evolved from the A.J.Beatty and Sons Company in1888 to Factory R of the U.S. Glass Company in 1892. Identified as Tiffin Glass beginning in 1927 when all household goods made at Factory R carried the paper gold shield label. Closed in 1980. Known for colored table and stemware and for the Tiffin Moderne lines.
