WESTMORELAND
Westmoreland Glass Company, Grapeville, Pennsylvania, 1890-1985. Made good quality, hand made glass ware. Produced an array of pressed glass in everything from complete dinner services to novelties of all kinds in the years before World War I when it was named the Westmoreland Specialty Company. Reproductions of earlier patterns were also made. Colored glass was in production from early 1920s onward. The manufacture of milk glass began after World War II. Lamps were also produced.
